Description:


Participants in this workshop will gain a general understanding of the anatomy of a character. They will learn about the techniques and methods of creating a character, specifically in storytelling and screenwriting, and will be able to distinguish between character and type, strong (active) and weak (passive) characters, as well as protagonist and supporting characters. They will acquire strategies for analyzing characters in stories and films and will learn methods to add more depth to the characters in their stories or screenplays.

This is a specialized workshop, and to get the most out of it, participants should have general and semi-specialized knowledge of the principles of storytelling and screenwriting.
